The Saxonia Entertainment GmbH is one of the most successful TV production companies in Central Germany. Founded in 1999, the company became a 51%-owned subsidiary of Bavaria Film GmbH and a 49% holding of DREFA Media Holding in 2003.
Our core business is entertainment production, ranging from prime time shows in the evening and infotainment series, entertainment features, interactive game shows, live recordings of concerts, comedy shows and docusoaps to gala events staged for television. Our production portfolio has been continually extended with reportages, events, image films and, since 2011, documentaries. Thus the company has become an experienced service provider of television productions of every format between fiction and animation films.
As a company based in Saxony-Anhalt, we are present in all essential media hubs of Central Germany with offices in Magdeburg, Leipzig, Berlin and Dresden.
We offer stable economic development with an annual sales increase between 10% and 25% and in the course of the years we have been established as a leading force in the market sector in Central Germany.
